“As we look towards the future, it is becoming increasingly important for us to focus on sustainability and the efficient use of our resources. Through the activities and events during Green Innovation Week, we hope that our learners will be challenged to find innovative ways to make a positive impact on the environment as responsible citizens of our world.
As a wrap on our events, we hosted an incredible trashion event where our learners were challenged to create hats or outfits from recycled materials. This fun and inspiring event helped us emphasise the importance of sustainability and encouraged our learners to actively work towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals.We were amazed by the level of creativity and innovation displayed by our learners in their designs. From bold and colourful hats to elegant dresses, each piece showcased a unique flair and style. Our learners have shown that sustainable fashion can be both creative and stylish! Remember – It’s garbage CAN, not garbage can’t!”
